About
Shawn Chen graduated with a BS and MS in biomedical engineering from UCLA before joining MII as the lead programmer for the Integrated Diagnostic Reports (IDR) web application. Since then, Shawn has also worked as the main programming support for many of the department’s research projects. He is experienced in both front-end and back-end web development, as well as most current healthcare IT standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM).
