Luoting (Lottie) earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Statistics at UCLA. She later completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, where she worked in a computational pathology lab, focusing on multimodal fusion to improve survival prediction in cancer. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Medical Informatics at UCLA under the guidance of Dr. William Hsu. Her research centers on developing explainable and robust deep-learning methods to characterize longitudinal imaging biomarkers of indeterminate pulmonary nodules, with the goal of improving lung cancer diagnosis.
