Ashwath is a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at UCLA working with Dr. William Speier. His research focuses on developing deep learning methods to analyze ultrasound, specifically to improve diagnosis of thyroid cancer. He previously graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Bioengineering and a minor in Computer Science.
