Dr. Ashley Prosper is a radiologist specializing in cardiothoracic imaging. She received her B.A. degree in Biological Sciences while minoring in business administration at the University of Southern California. She also obtained her medical degree from USC at the Keck School of Medicine.

Dr. Prosper completed an enfolded nuclear medical fellowship during her diagnostic radiology residency at USC in 2016. A year later, she completed a cardiothoracic imaging and intervention fellowship.

Dr. Prosper is a diplomate of both the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the American Board of Radiology. Her research interests include early detection of lung cancer, imaging biomarkers of cardiac involvement of Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, and advanced imaging in pediatric congenital heart disease. Dr. Prosper was the recipient of the UCLA Radiology Young Faculty Teaching Award two years in a row (2017-18 & 2018-19).

Dr. Prosper is an active member of the American College of Radiology, serving on the  Council Steering Committee and ACR Lung-RADS committee. She is also actively involved in the Radiological Society of North America, serving on the editorial board for Radiology Imaging Cancer and as a leader on the RSNA's Health Equity Committee.
